“Dabaiyang” Mining Project won the First Prize of the 1st Science and Technology Achievement Award on Emergency Management and Safety of Hebei Province

  Recently, with the approval of the Science and Technology Department of Hebei Province, the 1stScience and Technology Achievement Award on Emergency Management and Safety sponsored by Hebei Emergency Management and Association of Work Safety was successfully held in Shijiazhuang. After being approved by the Expert Review Committee, the project named”downward medium long hole pressure relief mining of moderately inclined medium thick hard-to-mine orebody in Dabaiyang Gold Mine—an experimental study and application” which was jointly declared by CCGRI and Hebei Dabaiyang Gold Mine Co. Ltd., won the first prize.
  Hebei Emergency Management and Work safety Association has undertaken the Provincial Selection and Awarding task since 2020.Judging from safety benefits, social benefits, economic benefits and industry in fluence, The Provincial Association finally appraised 7 projects with the first prize, 18 projects with the second prize and 32 projects with the third prize.
  After the” Experimental study of the mining methods for moderately inclined medium thick orebody in Dabaiyang Gold Mine” approved by the Science and Technology Innovation Department of China National Gold Group Co., Ltd,., Dabaiyang project team went to Xuanhua, Hebei Province, and stationed at the production site in April 2017. After two years endeavor, the project achieved significant results. Experts from China Gold Association assessed the project as “international leading level” and it was awarded the first prize of 2019 China Gold Technology Award.
  Experts pointed out that this research adopts early roof control by stripped roof cutting and downward parallel medium long hole pressure relief mining process to carry out field stoping, so that the moderately inclined medium thick hard-to-mine orebody can truly realize pressure relief mining; In order to solve the problem of maintaining the high side wall of medium and deep hole stope, the skill of “medium long hole blasting for a single time and ore drawing layer by layer” was put forward to ensure the safety of mining operation; During stripped roof cutting operation, the “reversed inclination” arrangement pattern is proposed to change the ore throwing direction, shorten the ore throwing distance and reduce the damage of blasting to the surrounding rock of the roof. Besides, the structure form of “connected凹-shaped ore pillars” is proposed, and the technique of “ore pillar reinforcement and enhancement technology” is adopted, which effectively solved the problem of poor stability of the ore column in the process of slow tilting medium-thick ore body recovery, guaranteed a safer and more efficient mining environment. To sum up, the technical route of the project was accurate, and the method is reasonable. The research has realized the integrated innovation of multiple technologies with significant economic and social benefits, and it is worth to be promoted in similar mines.
  The technical and economic indicators of this scientific research achievement show that the comprehensive production capacity of the stope is 150t / D, the loss rate is 17.5%, and the dilution rate is 4.75%. The new profit of ore is 26.87 yuan/t. Currently, the mine adopted the“along inclined pre-controlled roof downward parallel medium long hole pressure relief mining process”, and the output accounts for about 45% of the annual planned mining volume. According to the current retained reserves of medium thick ore bodies( 506600 tons), it is estimated that 494200 tons of ore will be mined, and an additional profit of 13.2792 million yuan will be obtained.
