Five projects undertaken by Changchun Gold Research Institute passed the 2011 Project Assessment by China Gold Association

Department of mining research, department of metallurgical research and department of environmental protection research lead by the directors of Changchun Gold Research Institute attended the 2011 Project Assessment hosted by China Gold Association in Beijing on December 20 and 21, 2011. Five projects undertaken by our institute passed the assessment including technical study on the engineering application of further treatment to arsenous wastewater with low concentration, experimental study on mining of hard-to-mine gently dip and moderately thick orebody in Jiangxi Jinshan gold mine, technical study on ventilation and cooling of deep mines, capacity of whole ore process—CIP plant and its technical study and application, and development and application of large scale high temperature and all insulation electrolyzer made of precious metals.
The assessment committee took in the reports of research teams, checked them and decided that the achievements have considerable economical and social benefits, showing broad application prospects. The achievement of capacity of whole ore process—CIP plant and its technical study and application generally reaches the leading level domestically, and the study and application of highly efficient concentrators in it reaches the advanced level internationally. The achievements of the other four projects reach advanced level internationally.
